Christmas Outreach Program
This year marks our 9th Annual Christmas Outreach program. With the community's cooperation, children in need are identified and selected for the program. Donations of toys can be brought to the lobby of SPD.

Citizens Police Academy
The purpose of the Summerville Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy is to provide citizens who live or work in the Town of Summerville a deeper understanding of the job knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the modern day law enforcement officer.

Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community they serve together to discuss issues and learn more about each other.

Police Cadet Program
The Summerville Police Department’s Explorer Program was established in 1992 to provide a positive setting for young people to interact with law enforcement officers, further their education, encourage their participation in rewarding and productive service activities and possibly interest them in a law enforcement career.
